The Mayor allowed to lapse for failure to open a file in 2011
The Socialist Group in the City of Fuente Alamo has requested through a motion to open information file to determine if the group is fulfilling the contract Generala refuse collection and street cleaning.
The motion of the Socialist Party calls a technical report on the implementation of certain aspects such as frequency of cleaning of containers, the collection of packaging in districts and replacing workers who are on vacation.
According to the Socialist spokesman at City Hall, Antonio Jesús García Conesa, "this initiative is motivated by the significant deterioration of the service we've seen this summer, because there are defaults that are publicly known, and because the Mayor allowed to lapse past record open 2011 ".
That year the Socialist Group uncovered that The General had since 2006 required to pick up trash on Saturday, but the City never demanded it.
"A very serious breach can not remain without consequences, but now the City Council has renegotiated the contract and that requirement has been removed," says Garcia Conesa.
"When evidence is not complying, The General will have to leave and the city will put out to tender the service you pay for another company," he concludes.
