'Entrepreneurial City' is a pioneering initiative of the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation has 13 municipalities in the region
The Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, signed a collaboration agreement with the mayor of Fuente Álamo, María Antonia Conesa, distinguishes this locality as 'Entrepreneurial City' and the various actions to be promoted to encourage creation and development of entrepreneurial business initiatives.
As noted by the director are "intended to encourage entrepreneurial talent and advance the technological and business development of the municipality, with the objective of creating skilled jobs."
The agreement signed today involves developing a series of measures covering the entire route to be followed by the developer of a project to start a company.
Also includes actions intended to awaken the entrepreneurial vocation at an early age, and to update the perception that society has of the entrepreneur.
It also includes identifying the sources generating employment in the municipality, is expected to attract potential entrepreneurs, there are measures of tax incentives at the municipal level.
One of the main axes of the agreement is to streamline and simplify procedures for activities that are underway and for those that are being designed.
In this line of collaboration includes promoting and strengthening the infrastructure themselves or others that may harbor early stage activities on favorable terms.
Thus, the Institute for the Promotion of the Region (Info) and the City Council will encourage the housing of entrepreneurs and new business initiatives in the 'nursery Township Enterprises', and this in turn will be integrated into the network of nurseries promotes regional body.
Also, both administrations promote access of entrepreneurs to the Technological Park of the Region of Murcia, located in Fuente Alamo.
At the same time, collaborate on the enhancement of existing business infrastructure and development activities to support the business and potential entrepreneurs through various instruments and integration into the Red Point SMEs.
As stated by the Minister of Enterprise, "it is essential that both administrations, municipal, and regional levels, for procedures involving the creation of a company can be resolved in one place and at one time" and stressed that these agreements "are an example of collaboration" between the local authority and regional.
Municipalities entrepreneurs
The initiative 'Entrepreneurial City' is an action that the regional government, through the info, make a pioneer in Spain.
With the addition of Fuente Alamo and 13 municipalities are distinguished as entrepreneurs: Abarán, Eagles, Alhama de Murcia, Cehegín, Molina de Segura, Yecla, Totana, Cartagena, Cieza, Murcia, Lorquí and Puerto Lumbreras.
José Ballesta encouraged all municipalities to join this initiative which promotes the articulation of local measures that contribute to the creation of new enterprises, the reduction or elimination of red tape by the momentum of the 'e-government', Industrial land development and the implementation of incentives and bonuses at local rates encourage business creation and consolidation of existing ones.
