Today, beginning at 9 am, opened the registration period to participate in the National Triathlon XXII Villa de Fuente Alamo.
In just one hour, the web (www.trifuentealamo.es) where was your application for participation looked overwhelmed after reaching the maximum number of athletes set, amounting to 700 participants.
In this situation, the council of Sports City of Fuente Alamo, as the organizer of this competition, has been forced to close the call ahead of time, for security reasons.
Elite test where the best triathletes will gather national and global level will be held on Saturday, April 30, from the famous beach of Rihuete Mazarron and end on the Gran Via de Fuente Alamo where they will be delivering trophies.
The distance to be covered in this test will be:
750 meters swimming segment.
24 kilometers, cycling segment.
5 km walk.
The Department of Sports of the City Council will provide all participants lodging, meals, breakfast and dinner, as well as necessary medical services and the ability to make use of sports facilities in the municipality.
They will also be about 200 young volunteers, residents of this municipality, to ensure the comfort and needs of triathletes.
