Last weekend, a total of 225 people took part in nightlife VII pilgrimage to the Holy of Totana.
At 2130 hours, Saturday 3 October, the pilgrims were blessed at the door of the Parish Church of St. Augustine and then start walking your particular pilgrimage.
A backpack, a walking stick and comfortable shoes are the only conditions to successfully accomplish the 40 km long to reach the shrine.
As is tradition, passing by El Campillo, local residents greeted the pilgrims with bell ringing, fireworks and a hot cup of chocolate.
A rich food supply that was repeated at kilometer 21, in the old abandoned station, with baskets of fruit, pastries and juice.
Just after five o'clock, the first fuentealameros came to the shrine, while the rest came and went until 9 am when the officiating is a special Mass in honor of all of them.
After the Eucharist the president of the board of the Santa gave them a medal of the patron.
This year, three euros for registration to participate in the nightlife has been divided between the Church of Fuente Alamo, Caritas and the Sanctuary of Totana.
