The Minister of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, Beatriz Ballesteros, met today with the mayor of Fuente Álamo, Juana María Martínez, with whom she discussed various issues related to the areas of citizen security and emergencies in the municipality, including the future construction of a Comprehensive Center for Citizen Security.Ballesteros stressed that "it is a project of the city council to unite in the same building the facilities of Local Police and Civil Protection, which will allow the provision of their respective services from a single headquarters, with the advantages that this entails."During the meeting, the need for Fuente Álamo to have a Municipal Emergency Plan was also highlighted, which will have the support for its preparation of the technicians of the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies.
Likewise, the possibility that Civil Protection of that municipality can participate in the Emergency Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fires in the Region of Murcia (Infomur Plan) was analyzed.
