| The consistory will present the prizes for the 48th edition of the Villa de Fuente Álamo International Painting Competition and inaugurate the exhibition of works | The City Council of Fuente Álamo has organized a commemorative event on the occasion of 'Villa Day' which is celebrated next Monday, July 20. A special day for all the Fuentealameros who will remember the constitution of Fuente Álamo as a municipality on July 20, 1700, after several years of litigation with the three Councils to which it belonged at that time: Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca. To celebrate this day, the consistory has called an institutional event, which will begin at 12 noon in the Agrarian Chamber of Fuente Álamo, with the institutional speech by Juana María Martínez, mayor of Fuente Álamo.
