The City of Fuente Álamo has presented its cultural program for the months of February and March that includes activities related to painting, music and literature.
The program begins on Friday, February 7 with a piano and soprano recital by Raúl Martínez Esteban and Anabel Merino Jiménez, which will be held at 8 pm at the Hermitage of San Roque.
This activity is included in the program 'Re-vision: 2004/2009' that commemorates the XV anniversary of the inauguration of the exhibition hall 'Ermita de San Roque'.
A space that will be the protagonist of the conferences: 'From San Roque to Havana', on Thursday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m., by Antonio Aznar Mínguez;
'Poetics of the earth', on Friday, February 21 at 8 pm, by Martínez Cánovas and Hernández Barbero, moderated by the journalist Ariana Gómez;
and the conference 'Creative acts', on Friday, February 28 at 8:00 p.m., which will be attended by Nicolás Maya.
In addition, you can visit, from 18 to 20 hours and until March 1, the exhibition "Social Critical Kaleidoscope" in the room 'José Hernández' of the house of culture of Fuente Álamo.
Within the cultural agenda also highlights the meeting of the reading club in which the work 'The room of Nona' will be commented and will be held on February 14 at 20:30 in the Municipal Library.
On Thursday, February 20 will take place, in the same space and at 20 hours, the conference 'For 24 days Fuente Álamo ... was our house' by José Celdrán Peñalver;
and in the room 'José Hernández' of the House of Culture, from 20 hours, the malocological exhibition 'Conchas marinas, las jewelry del mar' by Julio Pernas García will be exhibited.
Under the name 'Malapata astronaut', a series of activities will be developed for all students in the 4th grade of the municipal schools that will visit and carry out fun activities at the Municipal Library, El Aljibe and the Fountain Museum Poplar.
On Friday, March 13 at 8:30 p.m., the Municipal Library has also designed a meeting with the writer Leonardo Cano, author of the play 'The Middle Ages'.
Admission is free until capacity is reached.
On March 27, 28 and 29, the II Fuente Alamo book fair will be held in Ronda de Poniente.
