The City Hall of Fuente Álamo, in collaboration with the artist Pedro Cano, has organized some painting workshops for schoolchildren in the municipality in order to bring this discipline to all corners of Fuente Álamo.
With this objective, four workshops have been held, two in Fuente Álamo and two others aimed at students from the rural schools of El Escobar, Los Almagros and El Estrecho.
In this edition, in the workshops held in rural areas, the fruit of the time has been used to explain the techniques used by the artist, while the workshops that have been taught in Fuente Álamo have had a "more urban" character, in Cano's words.
Pedro Cano, who has been collaborating with the City Council of Fuente Álamo in these workshops for more than five years, says that in these times when there is so much talk about depopulated Spain, "activities of this kind must be encouraged to help schools rural not to lose their education points. "
In this way, the artist enriches with his work and his work the educational work of teachers and parents of young people in the municipality from which Cano highlights his joy for learning year by year, remembering that "I know some of them from a long time ago ", all the time that Pedro Cano has been giving this training in Fuente Álamo.
