The student of the secondary school "Ricardo Ortega" de Fuente Alamo Genaro Rafael Marín Martínez has won the first prize in the regional phase of the IV National Biology Olympiad, which has been developed at the Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia, Campus de Espinardo.
The second prizes were for Juan Ramon Robles Reyes, the Marist College Mercy-Fuensanta, and Lorena Moreno Perez, the school "San Jorge".
The regional phase, organized by the Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia and the Ministry of Education, together with the Association of Biologists, has had the participation of more than 120 students.
Those selected will receive some additional training to be conducted in that faculty, in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences of the Region of Murcia, and will assist them in preparing for the national stage.
These supplements may also attend for the evaluations obtained, students Andrés Alberto Madrid, the school of "Nebrija" Mompeán Lucía Gómez, the school "San Buenaventura," and Pedro Esteban Quílez, the Institute of Fleet.
The awards to the winning students will be held on March 5, within the acts of the Week XXIII Biology.
