The Government of Spain will invest 60,000 euros this year in the remodeling of the Civil Guard barracks
The Government delegate proposed the signing of several cooperation agreements between the Ministry of Interior and Local Police
The government delegate in Murcia has co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board of Fuente Alamo, along with the mayor of the town, Maria Antonia Conesa.
At the same we have analyzed different aspects of public safety in the municipality and González Tovar has reiterated its confidence in the role of this body to improve the coordination of the actions of the National Police and Civil Guard and the local police municipalities in our region.

With regard to the provision of the Civil Guard in Fuente Alamo, González Tovar has very much appreciated the efforts of the Government of Spain to increase troop.
Today the barracks has 18 officers, 100 percent more than in 2004, which had 9 guards.
Moreover, the delegate of the Government has announced the redevelopment of the Civil Guard station in Fuente Alamo with an investment of 60,000 euros.
The reform consists of the construction of a new unit as an office of the commander of the post, replacing the doors to the barracks and courtyard, construction of a new ledge and various improvements in the parking lot and the perimeter fence of the enclosure.
During the local board, we have studied the current security situation of the municipality, as well as ways to further enhance the collaboration between the Guardia Civil and Local Police.
The delegate highlighted the increased effectiveness of the Security Forces to increase by 7 percent the number of arrests made between January and May from a year earlier.
Finally, Gonzalez Tovar has proposed to the Mayor of Fuente Alamo who signs a partnership agreement on security in order to strengthen collaboration between local police and the Forces of State Security.
This agreement would entail the development of the Local Safety Plan, which would include joint action programs and planned, a protocol for assistance in automated information or installation of a shared technical operations.
It has also proposed the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Interior for the Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence.
The Government delegate pointed out that this type of agreement has been signed by some municipalities in the region and its extension to other "is a target because we will improve service delivery, optimize resources and progress in improving of public safety. "
