Martinez-Cache highlights the "environmental and social value" Almond for the maintenance of territory (01/04/2015)

The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Adela Martinez-Cache, closed last night, along with the mayor of Fuente Álamo, María Antonia Conesa, the General Assembly of the Cooperative 'Almonds Murcianas' Fuente Álamo, which brings together nearly 600 almond growers and carob.

Almonds Cooperative Society Murcianas Fuente Alamo, founded in 1989 and forming part currently more than 600 members, has an area of ​​6,120 hectares and has a production potential of 2,330 tons of almond and carob 980.

Marketing almond shell it is intended mainly to the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Murcia, as well as the Andalusian and Catalan communities.
