This morning the Mayor of Fuente Alamo, Maria Antonia Conesa, signed with CEOM (Association for the Integration of Persons with Intellectual Disability) a collaboration agreement whereby the City of Fuente Álamo made available to this group a physical space and all the material required to meet, train and guide potential users.
The site chosen is the Social Services building in order to "facilitate the work between the municipal technicians and CEOM during the processes of labor intermediation," said the first mayor.
The technical director of CEOM, Pepi López, explained that users attend individually to determine their employment profile and begin the process of employment guidance.
Township enterprises also play an important role because, once the review of profiles will determine which are likely to offer the job to the candidate and some preliminary work practices are carried out.
"If all goes well and good connection exists between what the company expected and the work done by the candidate, of course, the idea is that you end up with a labor contract," Pepi López highlighted.
Although this service will officially begin work on March 27, there are three people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality embarked on this project.
"We want everyone to know this service so we can cater to as many users as possible," stated Joseph Thomas Nicholas, president of CEOM
