Fuente Alamo City Council, through the Department of Social Policy, renewed for two more years the cooperation agreement with Abraham Project Association for the implementation of separate collection systems for textiles, footwear and toys in different municipalities.
The object is to contribute, on one hand, to preserve the environment and prevent these wastes are landfilled;
and secondly, donating them to needy and low income.
"It is admirable that great social and humanitarian work being done and so we are very pleased to again renew our commitment to this partnership," declared the mayor of Fuente Álamo, Maria Antonia Conesa, at a press conference.
