The environmental commitment of the City of Fuente Álamo to reduce CO2 emissions and improve sustainable urban mobility continues with the temporary replacement of some of the local cars for low power consumption.
This pilot began in October with the delivery of a Bi-Fuel vehicle for urban patrolling the local police, is now complete with a new 100% electric car intended for maintenance of streetlights.
For at least two weeks, City staff responsible for these tasks will make their own movements that require your workday with these types of cars, from the departments of Infrastructure and Environment, further evaluate the kilometers, the cost involved in this fuel alternative and the energy consumed in each way.
According to a previous study, it is estimated that the cost savings will use these vehicles to the municipal coffers will be around 20%
