In order to comply with the Law of Budgetary Stability, on the occasion of the plenary yesterday, adopted a series of agreements involving the adjustment measures necessary to achieve the balance of the municipal budget.
One of the main agreements has been the lowering of wages both municipal employees and members of the municipal corporation.
With regard to the reductions applied to officials, it implies the suspension for two years, some of the agreements referred to in the collective of workers and the elimination of overtime (in the case of performing, will be offset by staff rest days), the suspension of contributions to the pension plan, social aid and allowances of productivity.
These agreements have been negotiated between the Personnel Board, the mayor and council member of staff.

Finally, in the same meeting yesterday also approved the Municipal Budget for 2012 with the implementation of major cuts in areas highlighted as: Staff (18%) current expenditure (30%) and investments (81.5%).
Representing a 36% reduction by reference to the previous year.
