The regional government has agreed to grant a million euros to public universities in the region to strengthen technology transfer centers are there in the Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Alamo.
This reversal of the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research is intended to finance facilities and scientific-technological equipment of existing complementary, and necessary for the operation and enhancement of these R & D + i.
Also pursued technology transfer to the productive sectors characterized by high rates of innovation.
Specifically, the Center for Technology Transfer (CTT) at the University of Murcia will receive 300,000 euros, while the Development Center for Technological Innovation (CEdit) of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena will get 700,000 euros.
This action is part of the Industrial Plan and the Plan for High-Tech Innovation powered by the Murcia Government to promote regional economic growth and improving competitiveness of the productive sector on the basis of R + D + i.
The function of these centers is to conduct collaborative projects with innovative companies in the Park and others in the region.
To do so will house prototypes, pilot plants and semi-industrial facilities and technology-based companies that exploit the results of the research groups at public universities.
