The Secretary General of the PSOE in Fuente Alamo, Antonio Jesús García Conesa, will lead the Socialist candidate in this county.
In the local assembly of the party held Tuesday night, received the unanimous support of all members.
After receiving the trust of his colleagues, declared his intention to become the next mayor of Fuente Alamo after 16 consecutive years of Popular Party government.
He said it is time for new people take over, people ready able to take the reins at a very difficult for a municipality which is the third most indebted in the region.
Its program is based on a more efficient and austere, aimed at reducing debt and deficits in educational and cultural development of peoples of the municipality, and promoting economic development and employment, facilitating the work of entrepreneurs and ensuring social cohesion.
Antonio Jesús García Conesa (Fuente Alamo, 1973) was elected Secretary General of the Socialist Group of Fuente Alamo in November 2008.
Married, two children, holds a degree in Law and Political Science, and Professor of Secondary Education by specialty and Vocational Guidance.
