The Regional Confederation of Organizations of Fuente Alamo has attended the demonstration that took place today against the Government Delegation of Murcia, in support of the City Council and the Association of Residents of Fuente Alamo.
The reason for the claim has been demanding more security measures for the municipality suffered after the wave of robberies in recent months.
Under the slogan "Fuente Alamo, for their safety. Stop theft", the mayor of Fuente Alamo, Antonio Jesus Garcia Conesa, next to the municipal corporation of the City, has spearheaded the rally.
In recent years there has been a wave of robberies, both in companies and in private homes, getting some to reach violence.
During this time, COEC has held several meetings with local police, civil guard, mayors and councilors to seek more effective to ensure the municipality.
"Only in the last month there have been more than 78 thefts and robberies that have affected residents and business people. We need a greater presence of the Civil Guard in our town," said Eugenio Buendia, president of COEC Fuente Alamo.
The demonstration have moved about 400 people, most of Fuente Alamo neighbors, who in recent months have organized night patrols surveillance to demand a solution as soon as possible due to the lack of workers, especially in the summer.
