The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, through the Directorate General of Highways, has installed new signs on regional roads RM-602, which connects the Cartagena deputation of Miranda with Los Muoces (Alhama de Murcia) and the RM-E31, which links to the Alhama-Campo de Cartagena motorway, to improve access to the Fuente lamo Technology Park.
The Director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez Llad, accompanied by the director, Joaqun Juan Technology Park, attended today the ceremony of laying the road signs that will facilitate the location and access to the facility, which houses 32 companies that generate more than 800 jobs.
Fernndez Llad stressed that, unique in the region, "Technology Park has established itself as the leading area for innovation and technological specialization, offering a high level of excellence services, equipment, communications and telecommunications and provides a high added value companies and organizations it houses. "
Therefore, and for its location in the region, the Technology Park "needed a better signage for the valorization of this important area of work and research, while facilitating their identification and accessibility".
The project involved the installation of two separate access road signs on regional roads RM-602 and RM-E31.
The first one is located at kilometer 12.3 of the RM-602 road, towards Fuente Alamo and before turning to the road leading to the Technology Park, and the second signal is at kilometer 2 RM -E31.
In addition, the poster installed on the RM-602 identifies the location of the multinational Sabic (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation) specializing in the manufacture of thermoplastic materials engineering.
