The general director of Agricultural Production, Livestock and Marine Environment, Francisco Espejo, presented today at the Agrarian Chamber of Fuente Álamo the Working Table of Livestock in the Region of Murcia, which is formed by representatives of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing and Environment, Adespolorca and ranchers of all species.This Table is part of the elaboration of the Livestock Plan 2020-2025, in which the Community has been working for months, aimed at improving and defining the livestock sector of our Region for the future, so that it is more sustainable, technologically advanced and more competitive.
For this, meetings are being held with all the agents involved and the agrarian organizations, in order to collect proposals that allow progress in this line, through participation and consensus.The CEO announced that "this is the first of a series of meetings that are expected to contribute to the development of the aforementioned Plan, for the benefit of a sector that is a fundamental part of the regional economy, capable of generating jobs and whose vital importance for Securing our food has been proven in this time of pandemic.
"The act was attended by the mayor of Fuente Álamo, Juana María Martínez, the president of Adespolorca, Francisco Román, and with a representation of the ranchers who are part of the Table: Alfonso Galera, Jesús Alcaraz, Rosario Zaragoza, Javier Lorente , Alfonso Aliaga, María José Guirao and Pedro Giner.
